The suit that was Taylor Made at the time of my marriage 40 years ago, bears testimony to the fact that I had a 'V' shape as opposed to a barrel shape. The suit is a stark reminder that if you don't stop adapting and adjusting like a swift and creative Taylor you will soon be unfit for marriage. In other words, both Taylor's and Spouses have a common ongoing attitude to ensure a good fit - Solpa adjust maadi !!

I like the title of this FC 'Tailor Swift'. However, today tailors get paid more for their services which are neither swift nor sleek. Gone are the days when tailors struggled to earn a living from stitching. Today's tailors, like today's chefs and beauticians, command eye-watering prices for stitching. And a new friend recently told me that she had blouses stitched for her daughter's wedding - at an astounding Rs.45,000 each!!
