Absolutely brilliant and so relatable... best thing about this read is that it is mostly always relatable... thanks for sharing your experiences with us...
Absolutely agree with you sir.... someone has said , “Take a leap of faith and throw yourself into the unknown, you will be surprised what you discover about yourself”. And that’s where we realized when we take this risk... reach the heights... our ego , our self esteem, the highest level of our need is satisfied... what else one would want more than this..... one must take this leap of faith😊
Thank you Pras. Over the past year and more, Sunday’s are never the same, with your Filter Coffee hitting me even before the real (morning) bed coffee does gets to me.
When I read about your leap of faith, I did have in mind the leap of faith that most of us took when getting married. As already mentioned in my earlier comments, we simply did not have the time or ability to take such a major decision on who should be our life’s partner especially at that tender age. Nevertheless most of us are happy that it has turned out well, and our decision couldn’t have been better.
As for your leap of faith and movement to Mumbai, I must say that your faith in your abilities was well put and you just widened your horizons and spread your wings by moving to Mumbai. You would have excelled anywhere. There’s no doubt that you wouldn’t have grown as much as you eventually did, in Mysore as you did in Mumbai. Without the inherent faith in your own abilities you wouldn’t have moved to Mumbai. You had that fire in the belly which made you leapfrog over many others and help you reach the pinnacle in your profession. Finally what paid off is your own faith in your own abilities.
Continued- In my case, it was a leap of faith that at 45 I entered into " Teaching" as that was a worthwhile choice I made. Serving for 20 long years and being with little angels has been the best part of my
life and most fulfilling.
In my sunset years I continue with a deep sense of satisfaction . Bless you
Prasanna, absolutely brilliant!! All along , even before I read the end, I was thinking of " marriage" . It is the biggest risk one takes! You and I have remained lucky😎
Your move to Mumbai, made very interesting reading. I do not think it was a leap of faith, but the trust you had in your capabilities ( luck has favoured
you only partially) which has got you to reach the PINNACLE!!
You have made your entire family( including us) extremely proud💐
