Great post! It is also good to understand why a path is, indeed, well-worn. This relates to the concept of "Chesterton Fence" put forward by G K Chesterton in his 1929 book. It affirms the principle that reforms should not be made until the reasoning behind the existing state of affairs is understood.
"In the matter of reforming things, as distinct from deforming them, there is one plain and simple principle; a principle which will probably be called a paradox. There exists in such a case a certain institution or law; let us say, for the sake of simplicity, a fence or gate erected across a road. The more modern type of reformer goes gaily up to it and says, 'I don't see the use of this; let us clear it away.' To which the more intelligent type of reformer will do well to answer: 'If you don't see the use of it, I certainly won't let you clear it away. Go away and think. Then, when you can come back and tell me that you do see the use of it, I may allow you to destroy it."
At the same time, it is good to start over and rebuild when matters become corrupt or oppressive.
Nice thought Pras. The young at heart take new paths the older are driven by habit.... Beaten path! Two ways in which one knows a young person mind set is 1)look forward 2) try/learn something new. Definitely helps keep the brain healthy for the old.
Hi. After a long time I read something which not only engrossed me, but gave me such an indepth of live, its purpose, and what and who we are. To be honest I was floored , the write up is too good. The words chosen and the flow kept me attached with a surprising level of concentration.
It was just a feeling of rememberance and i wanted to connect with you and say Hello. You have have always been warm to me, bur Boss your write up is amazing, chiselled and crafted by a dedicated sculptuor, touching upon extreme finesse to deliver a beauty. GOD BLESS.🙏

My father was cinematographer, very creative, full of ideas and experimentation was in his genes.
For very strange reasons, I decided to pursue architecture.
After reading this, I realised that different paths but walking on the same soil, different engagement but same DNA.
Thanks for yet another coffee this morning............
