One of your friends responded that nothing has been heard about walls coming down. Why not ? What about the wall between the two Germanys? It did come down!
Yes . ‘Walls’ do have both positive & negative connotations. While a wall can give you safety & security, it could at the same time be restricting & stifling.
It the same breath, if bridges are not constructed ( figuratively too) it could lead to misunderstanding & tragedy… sadly thinking of the recent bridge collapse & loss of precious lives in Morvi , Gujarat.
Even though walls come up often in conversations, adorn houses and offer security it is ironical that its inner meaning is actually negative. While bridges rarely come up in interactions and are also not seen everyday they are actually considered positive.
Incidentally there is a game called bridge but there is nothing that is played with walls!
Also reminds me of the famous Hindi movie Deewar but nothing that comes to mind with Pul!
Let's also not forget the famous London Bridge and the rhyme London Bridge is falling down. Nothing that reminisces one about walls coming down!!
Physical walls are built for security which is often necessary. In my book Mental walls are limiters. An open mind is creative.
Mentally the deposition should always be about building bridges. It makes life journey positive with a sharp learning curve and the pay back is sheer joy!

Very true. An open mind remains receptive and creative.
