Another thought provoking one! Reminds of a young student who saw beauty in imperfection and chose that in her "ways of seeing beauty" exhibit. This included forgotten and sometimes broken treasures valuable to the owner in the stories and memories they brought to mind.

Including a picture of a gnarled and work worn hand, a lined and wrinkled face, etc.

Hi Pachu, I have been a silent, but ardent fan of Filter Coffee and felt compelled to comment about perfection. While it does take courage to be vulnerable and show one’s imperfections to others, I also think one needs compassion to accept one’s own and others’ imperfections. With that , the good becomes perfect!

Perfect start to the morning! There is no limit to achieving perfection and it makes sense to settle for a ‘good enough’. I am reminded of the Japanese term Wabi sabi. Wabi-sabi centres on looking and appreciating the beauty of imperfection. And rightly so, since life is itself imperfect and unpredictable. From wabi sabi derives Kintsugi which highlights imperfection in an aesthetic way… broken ceramic pottery is joined together with lacquer mixed with powdered gold.

A lovely article, thank you !

Prasanna Good morning! Thnx for sharing !

A thin line always makes a difference between perfection and imperfection! Again there is a thinner line which distinguishes being just perfect and lesser perfect, and the result emerges out of effort & perception. At times someone can improve the perfection beyond what one has just perfected. It is how one perceives perfection.

So, I always used this anecdote to keep improving the level of perfection…. “ Good is enemy of the Best “…. It’s like the javelin throw by Neeraj Chopra…keep perfecting….

I love something about all your Sunday Coffee aromas! Each one is better than the other! Pras you have a way of captivating the attention of the reader by your immaculate handling of the subject with so many sensibilities and expressions that the super aroma stays and the trivialities evaporate!!

Keep the potion going as it is potent and heady!

. Some people, who are good at something, doubt their ability and go about asking people for opinions on something they have created. Hence I shall desist from saying it is good !
