Brilliant piece Sir. Was pleasantly surprised to note that you watched Friends, something our generation (mostly millennials) grew up with. With every piece ,its intriguing to see the wealth of information that you possess, including sitcoms and movies. :-).

Almost like golf, target is set with so many shots/ par , you begin well , disaster strikes with a wild shot in to the rough, after many curses back to business, again in the water, curse, next hole is great, life repeated!!

As Tigerwood said, recovery is the name of the game! Don't let the previous bad shot rattle you!

But prepare to walk 7000 yards , mentally and physically.

Walking the 9 yards at the right pace and the right time is what determines positive outcomes.

I know of people who suffer from the "tread mill syndrome". They run like crazy to be in the same place.
